Admissions

If your child is due to start school or transfer to a new school in September, you must complete a Common Application Form (CAF) through your ‘home’ local authority.

You can complete the CAF online or request a paper version from your local authority.

Full details of the application process — including information about schools in your area — are available in the Composite Prospectus, which is published by each local authority every year on 12 September.

Who is your 'home' local authority?

If you live in Somerset, your home local authority is Somerset Council:

If you live in North Somerset, your home local authority is North Somerset Council:
Apply for a school place – North Somerset Council
