Welcome to Kewstoke Primary School.

We are a small, vibrant and forward-looking school. We are very proud of our children, staff and the community that we represent and are excited that you are showing an interest in finding out more about us. Being a small village school enables us to know all of our children really well and visitors often comment on the friendly ‘Kewstoke Family’ feel to the school. There is a great team of dedicated teachers and support staff who all work to ensure that every child has an enjoyable, safe and stimulating time here at Kewstoke. Learning is our priority. We value and nurture individuality and inspire a life-long love of learning through our creative curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities.

Our school passionately believes that every child is capable of anything! We have a real belief that nothing is impossible and want our children to develop a strong growth mind-set. This means that we are continually developing our learning and teaching practice so there is no limit placed on any of our children – a true belief that each and every child at Kewstoke can do extraordinary things. It is our privilege to have the opportunity to be part of the children’s development.

With an incredible backdrop to our site of Worlebury Woods and Sand Bay, outdoor learning is an integral element of our curriculum. The children make regular visits to the beach, where they can put their problem solving and team work skills to the test. Wellies and outdoor clothes are an essential part of the uniform at Kewstoke Primary as the weather is not always on our side!
